✨ Travel Scrapbook: Week Two in SC ✨

I can not believe it has been two weeks that I have been in South Carolina! To be fair I’ve never been on a vacation that was ever longer than a week so taking a full month is quite the experience ha! Today I’m sharing another Travel Scrapbook: Week Two in SC!

So this week we took it easy most days because week one, we hit the town hard ha! We were so excited to be here + explore + we still are. But our bodies + minds TOLD us that we needed to slow down + relax. So that is exactly what we did. Now, we did have some fun adventures + I’m about to share them now!

✨ SUNDAY ✨

Sunday was interesting because I was SO tired from all the driving I had done the past week + walking EVERYWHERE in Savannah that I kinda had a melt down ha! So we took it easy. We went to the most charming liquor store + I bought this bottle of Rosé even though I don’t drink because I fell in love with the bottle. I instantly envisioned it on display in my home, empty ha! Or I’ll make it my decanter of ice water ha!

Then we came home + Meghara made the best Chicken Noodle Soup. I’m so mad I didn’t take a picture of the final product but I was so excited I just ate it ha!

I didn’t move from the couch all day lol I worked a little + watched football. It was the perfect Sunday!

✨ MONDAY ✨

Monday was much better ha! I woke up + made myself a healthy breakfast, which is my favorite way to start the day.

Then I took it easy because this is what this what this time away was all about for me. I ended up painting my toe nails because wow did they need it ha! I did some work while Meg worked as well.

Then we went back to the Sands + watched the sunset. It did not disappoint. God was showing off again ha!

We had grabbed some flowers + I finally made Fall arrangement that came out super cute, if I do say so myself ha!

Then after I completed them, I ended up making two we got super inspired to decorate our space so we went to 4 different dollar stores to get some fall decor ha! It came out cute if I do say so myself.

✨ TUESDAY ✨

So during the day we really didn’t do anything. Meg worked, I worked on Sparkle + some other things + just hung around the house.

I did go to the local ice cream parlor to get Meg a coffee because girlfriend needed one ha!

Then at night we had our first Spooky Night + watched both Hocus Pocus Movies. It was fun to watch because I hadn’t seen the original movie in years. We set up a fun spread of food and used Holiday appropriate decor.

       \

Meg even made two cakes for us to decorate. If you couldn’t tell, mine is the one with all the sprinkles ha! They are thin because they were supposed to be cupcakes but we didn’t have the tin to make them so we made two thin cakes. They were the perfect size.

✨ WEDNESDAY ✨

This was another slow + easy day. We really didn’t do much. I made a healthy breakfast which is my favorite way to start the day. Then I sat on the couch + worked on Sparkle while watching HGTV. It was great ha!

✨ THURSDAY ✨

We didn’t do anything on Thursday that was picture worthy because I don’t have any ha! We were taking it easy these days because the weekend was JAM PACKED with driving + adventures!

✨ FRIDAY ✨

Friday we stayed home, kinda tidied up + did laundry + stuff like. We also packed for the weekend because we were going to go on a road trip to Asheville North Carolina to see the Blue Ridge Parkway + Fall Foliage. We were going Saturday to Monday + our sleeping accommodations was under the stars in my car ha!

However, we did venture out to Chick-Fil-A for dinner + I had to snap this picture of palm trees in the parking lot ha!

✨ SATURDAY ✨

We started our adventure at 9AM + it was about a four + a half hour drive without any stops. Well we stopped a couple times for Starbs + lunch. So we didn’t end up getting to the Blue Ridge Parkway until around 3 but it was okay because it was beautiful! We kept driving up the parkway + the views just kept getting better + better!

As I said above, my car was our sleeping accommodations. It started out a little rocky because we got there way later than we planned to so it was dark, we were in the middle of no where, with no service for our phones, electricity or plumbing. We knew about the no electricity + plumbing but the cell phone service was a surprise.

But we made the best of it, laughing + making memories. I drive a pretty nice size SUV so we blew up a full size mattress + basically jumped on it. We well I guess I should say I, filled it with a ton of blankets because I’m always cold lol. We each brought our pillows + dressed super warm. And I have to say, we both were super comfy + cozy cozy cozy cozy.

Since we were out in the middle of no where we could actually see the stars. The above photos were taken with my phone. It was really beautiful + peaceful I must admit.

And that concludes week two in SC! If you are still with me, you are a rock star!! Thank you so much!!
