✨ Products I Used To Get This Look ✨

products I used picture

I always make graphics to show my favorite beauty + skin care products and I love doing that because they really are my favorite products. But I kinda realized I never showed what they look like on. So today I’m sharing the products I used to get this look.

I have a love hate relationship with products. On one hand I love trying new products for many reasons. One being I love to try new things to see if I like it better than whatever I’m using or if it’s something I want to add into my routine. Another reason I like to try different products is because I can see the difference in textures, ingredients etc + I find out what I like.

On the other hand, there are SO MANY PRODUCTS out there. So many. Too many. I mean seriously, how many nude eye shadow palettes can there be?! It can be really over whelming when searching for something. And let me tell you, beauty + skin care companies know how to market because its so hard to resist not buying that nude lippie that you don’t need or that serum to add to your skin care routine.

✨ HOW I USED THE PRODUCTS: FACE ✨

After my skincare is applied [which seems to change weekly] I start with my base or “primer” if you want to call it. I put it on my fingers + then apply to my whole face. I love the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint [Shade: Diaz ST7] because it’s kinda magical ha! You don’t have to get your exact color for it work which is nice to have a little give. When you apply it, it just melts into your skin + gives you the beautiful natural glowy look.

It’s not full coverage so I then use the Lawless Foundation [Shade: Sesame]I put some on the back of my hand + then with a foundation brush I apply to my whole face. Just a little goes a long way but it has more coverage + finishes like a powder almost. It’s kinda magical too ha!

Next up is concealer. I have used the Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer [Shade: Crème] one for years + still love it. I try to apply it spaced out so it spreads out evenly when I blend it. Then I  apply the tarte Shape Tap glow wand [Shade: Alight] and blend everything together to get a nice even bright under eye area.

After the concealer is applied I then apply Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream [Shade: Light Bronze] to my forehead, cheek bones + jaw line. A 3 + E on my face basically + blend it in until it gives me a natural chiseled look we all want ha!

Once I have my cream/liquid products done its time to set. I start with my under eye area, don’t ask me why. I use Hourglass Setting Powder which I’ve used for years. Then I use Ilia Radiant Translucent Powder SPF 20 [Shade: Waikiki Run] to set the contour first + then my whole face.

Blush is next. I tend to do blush in layers as I like to create my own shade. So first I apply Lawless Blush [Shade: Sakura]. It gives a beautiful natural pink flush.  I start along my cheek bones + bring a little on the apples of my cheeks. I don’t like to apply too much because I feel that it gets too deep of a color. So then I apply Dior Blush [Shade: Pink] to make it pop. A little goes A LONG WAY with this so I use a light hand.

Last for the face is highlighter. Probably a tie for my favorite next to blush. I use Chanel Highlight [Shade: 10 Ivory Gold] because it gives a lit from within glow. I seem to be over the blinding high lights although I do keep one in my make up bag just incase. With a highlighter brush I apply this to my cheek bones, cupids bow, tip of my nose + bridge of my nose.

✨ HOW I USED THE PRODUCTS: EYES  ✨

Once the face is done + how I want it I start on the eyes. My go to eye is usually a sparkly smoky eye. The color of the sparkle depends on the color of my outfit. Usually I go for gold or silver, sometimes pink. For this look I did silver/white.

To start I use the Lawless The One Eyeshadow Palette shade first base to create a nice even neutral base. Then I use shade everything in the crease as a first layer.

Next I used the Patrick Ta Major Dimension Eyeshadow Palette and mixed shades transition + absolutely to define my crease.

For the outer V + smoky definition I use shade scandal. I don’t put it on too heavy because I go back for another layer after I apply the sparkle part.

The product I use is no longer available so Makeup By Mario Master Crystal Reflector™ [Shade: Quartz] is the closest I could find. I use my ring finger + pack it on my lid until I get the amount of sparkle I want. After I have the sparkle I want, I go back with the shade scandal + make it a little darker + clean up the edges.

Last but not least is mascara. I layer these on but it really does make a difference. With each one I always start at the base + wiggle up my lashes. Then I blink on the brush to really coat the lashes.

First I used tarte Lash Primer. Then once I coated my lashes + it’s still a little tacky I used Ilia Fullest Volumizing Mascara. Again, I start at the base + wiggle up then blink on the wand. For the last layer I use Ilia Limitless Lash Lengthening Mascara. The difference with this one is the wand. It has a side the help to unclump the lashes + it really works. I use it last to separate + lengthen my lashes. Once I’m done, to me its like I have lash extensions or Armenian lashes I like to call them ha!

Wow, if you are with me still you are a rock star!!
