✨ Friday Favorites: Chanel Products

[I know these pictures look similar but there are some differences. I like them both + couldn’t decided which to use so I used both ha!]

Hello Hello! How are you this Friday? Today’s post is up a little late, but I’m a big fan of better late than never ha! I’m excited about today’s post, Friday Favorites: Chanel Products because I’m a big fan of Chanel ha! But in all seriousness their products are high quality, cruelty free, high performing + the packing is beautiful! What more can you ask for?

I am a huge fan of quantity over quality. So my collection may be small, but it is mighty! I love testing + trying new products so I’ve been doing that lately. The Chanel Products I will be purchasing next are definitely their cosmetic brushes! They are wonderful, high quality + perform beautifully. Exactly what I look for in my products! So here we go!

✨ Cosmetics ✨

Hydrating Conditioning Lip Balm– This is a such a good conditioning lip product! I used it until I couldn’t anymore ha! It’s super creamy + feels really luxurious  on the lips. It works great for being layered with either a lip stick, lip gloss or both.

Moisturizing Lip Gloss– I was pleasantly surprised with the product. It really did moisturize my lips without making them dry. And it the pigment was really good.

Highlighting Powder [Shade: 10- Ivory Gold]– This highlighter is beautiful. I’ve raved about it before.  It’s not a blinding high lighter but more like a glow from within which I reach for more. I feel like it’s more natural + doesn’t show as many imperfections on my skin. Its a beautiful golden champagne color that I feel will look beautiful on all skin tones.

Powder Blush [Shade: 260- Alezane]– This was the very first Chanel Beauty product that I bought. When you view it on the website it really doesn’t look like that. Its a beautiful color that reminds me of NARS’s Organism’s older sister ha! It’s got the same gold “shimmer” but a big of a deeper pink. Again, I feel like it will look great on all skin tones. It’s very natural but gives you a little something something ha!

✨ Cosmetic Brushes ✨

Foundation Brush– I love this brush because it is great for both liquid + powder foundations so I don’t need two separate brushes. It’s super dense + blends in my foundation really evenly. I will say that when I either have too much foundation or the brush is in need of cleaning it will leave some lines. But I just blend them out with a beauty sponge + we are good to go!

Kabuki Brush– This is the first brush I bought + probably my favorite. It distributes my powder foundation so evenly its a dream. I’ve had it for well over a year + it still looks brand new. I use it to put on my settling power + then sometimes when I’m done with applying all my make up I’ll use it to go all over my face + blend in all the products so it looks seamless with no harsh lines.

Dual-Ended Brow Brush N°207– This is my newest addition to my collection + it did not disappoint! I love the spollie on it which is the main reason I bought it. It is heavy duty + doesn’t feel flimsy like some others I’ve tried. I also appreciate that the brush is duel with a slanted edge brush on the other size. It’s great for using eye shadow as eye liner or for the random time I fill in my brows with a powder product.

✨ On My Wish List ✨

When it comes to make up application, I feel that the tools you use are half the battle. You can have all the skills in the world but if your tools are crap the outcome won’t be as good. With that being said, I really try to invest in good quality brushes to make the  application better. Chanel brushes never disappoint.

I feel like my face brush collection is pretty strong but my eye brushes could use some love. Therefore, I have my eyes on these two eyeshadow brushes.

Flat Eyeshadow Brush N°202– I see myself using this brush for the shadows I use all over my lid or for some blending.

Rounded Eyeshadow Brush N°204– I like this one for blending in the crease specifically + on the outer corner of my eyes. I’m hoping it will help me achieve my look of that smoked out look without the harsh lines. I feel like it will give me more control.
