Hello Hello! Happy Wednesday Friend! We made it halfway through the week! With summer in full full swing, today I’m sharing my summer look for when I’m home. The best part about this post is that I made sure to include all pieces that are either on sale [#Nsale] or affordable on their own.
I am a brat when I’m too hot. I will admit that ha! It’s like everything just bothers me no matter what. I can take the heat, just not the humidity. Anyway, because of that I make sure that when I’m home I’m in cool, comfortable clothes.
With that being said, this is the look you can find me in. I own some of the pieces mentioned but not all. I’ll disclose which I have + which I don’t in the descriptions below! So here we go!
#1. Oversized Tee– I don’t like tight clothes these days. Guess you can say I’m showing my age ha! But I especially don’t like it in the summer! Give me all the oversized everything in the summer ha! I don’t personally have these shirt, but who knows what will happen before the sale ends ha! But I do love the brand Free People + how they perfect the oversize clothing. I don’t want anything sticking to me + that’s exactly what this brand delivers. I know its a little pricey for a tee shirt but their quality is great + will last a really long time. To be honest I’m always cold so I usually will either switch out the tee shirt for an oversized long sleeve tee or an oversized sweatshirt!
#2. BP Tank– I do own this tank + really like it. Its long so its great for layering + I do like that it is on the more fitted side because your shirts don’t get caught on any bulk ya know? I’m small chested so I don’t mind tanks with out a self bra as this one is. I don’t wear a bra or anything with it + have no issues. I do like wearing tanks under my shirts to feel a little more covered even in the summer.
#3. House Shoes/Slippers– Ugh this are the most comfortable shoes I’ve found in a while! They are true to size + it’s like walking on a cloud. Comes in several different colors, super affordable + ships free with prime! I can’t talk full credit of this find though. Ashely from The Teacher Diva shared them on IG [@ashleyrobertson] + I don’t think I’ve checked out faster ha! Thank you for the recommendation Ashely!!
#4.Black Cropped Leggings – I’m a jeans girl through + through. But not so much in the summer. If I’m going to be home I’m going to be comfy there fore in leggings ha! I don’t personally have these leggings, but I’m thinking by the time the #Nsale I will ha! I have heard nothing but good things about them. However, any black legging is what you’ll find me in during the summer when I’m home. Comfy, yet cute ya know? I don’t wear the tight compression leggings though. I’m not a fan of shorts so cropped leggings in my jam. I also like that any black leggings can be dressed up or down. So If I have to run out, I can swap my slippers for flip flops, grab a jacket, because i”m always cold + a cute handbag + I’m good to go!
You can usually find me at home with my hair on top of my head in a messy bun + glowly skincare + SPF on my face, oh + my Starbucks water bottled filled with ice in hand when I’m home lol And that’s my summer look for when I’m home!
