Hello Hello! One more sleep and then its the weekend! The first “work week” of 2021 went by pretty fast huh? I hope the New Year is off to a great start for you! Since Tuesday was all about my new skin care routine, I wanted to follow it up with my new beauty routine for my face. I am going to do a separate post for my new eye beauty routine next week, so stay tuned for that! It does look like a lot of products but I double up on a couple to make the color either pop or make my own. You don’t have to do that of course if you just want to use one.
I set this post up the same way I did my skin care post [which I’ll link here] and I’m going to do the same for the post on my eye beauty routine. So let’s get into it!

✨My Routine ✨
✨ Step 1: Primer + Foundation ✨
This Tula Primer is awesome. I’ve beeb using it for years now. It evens out your skin tone + gives a little glow. I found that if I shake it before I use it, it seems to be better. Sometimes if I don’t do that it makes me look kinda red. It’s super moisturizing + I find that my foundation applies really smooth + evenly on top of it.
Lawless Foundation [Shade: Sonoran] is my favorite foundation! I’ve been using it for years. It is super full coverage but buildable. A little goes a long way and gives a great glow to the skin. I first put it on my fingers and warm it up and pat it on my face + then rub it in. Then I take my beauty sponge + pounce it on my face to absorb any excess product + smooth it out. I find that it looks super natural + who doesn’t want that. It’s super moisturizing as well + is full of clean, good + rich ingredients for your skin! It comes in 20 shades for everyone’s skin tone! Highly recommend!
✨ Step 2: Conceal + Brighten ✨
Once I get my foundation the way I want it, I use HourglassVanish™ Airbrush Concealer [Shade: CRÈME] as my concealer. I’ve used this for at least a year maybe even more. I like it because it is full coverage yet light + hydrating so it doesn’t cake under my eyes. It also comes in a TON of color options + I love when companies do that so everyone can use it! Before I blend it in I use tarte shape tape™ glow wand [shade: Alight] for an extra glow under my eyes. I mix them together basically when I blend them in with my beauty sponge. The glow wand blends well but I found it has to be mixed with the concealer for best results. I can’t layer it. This glow wand also comes in several color options.
✨ Step 3: Set✨
Once I have my concealer blended throughly I set it with Lawless Setting Powder [Shade: Brightening]. This setting powder is awesome. I love that it is clean but it works really well too. It makes my concealer stay in place + not crease or cake all the while brightening my under eye area which is quit the feat given my genetic dark circles. It comes in 2 other shades as well so you can pick which is best for you!
Then once my under eye area is set I set my whole face with Supergoop! Invincible Setting Powder SPF 45 [Shade: Medium]. I LOVE this product! I’ve used it for years + even gone snorkeling in it and it didn’t budge off my face! It comes in a tube with a brush that is perfect for on the go touch ups + application. I put it in a jar + use my Chanel kabuki brush because I like the distribution my Chanel brush gives me. However, I do like the brush that it comes with and use it when I’m on the go. It comes in several colors + a translucent one so it works for everyone’s skin tone.
✨ Step 4: Bronze + Highlight ✨
We are almost done I promise ha! It seems like a lot but it really isn’t. It doesn’t take me super long to do this make up routine. Once my foundation is set I use Lawless Bronzer [Shade: Golden Hour]. As you can see in the pictures I hit pan which is a sign that the product is highly loved + used ha! It’s a matte bronzer which I like because I feel that it’s a cleaner look. Plus when worn with a highlighter I feel like it makes you look too shiny and no definition between the bronzer + highlighter if that makes sense.
It’s a perfect shade, not to brown, muddy, orange or red. It does come in a darker shade as well. And bonus, it’s a clean product with safe + rich ingredients for you skin. I use this for bronzer + contour. I contour first then bronze. It’s make up so whatever way you like better is perfectly fine!
Once my bronzer is in placeI use Lawless Lucid Skin Highlighter. There is only one so no shade name. This highlighter is a clean + safe product so I like to put this on first. It gives a glow from within look which is super pretty. I use it on my cheek bones, the bridge of my nose, cupid’s bow + on my chin. Its a champagne gold color which is super flattering for pretty much all skin tones.
I add Chanel Highlighting Powder Compact [Shade: 10 Ivory Gold] on top for an extra pop. It’s a beautiful light gold shade that looks good on so many skin tones. It is pricy but I’ve had it for a while and haven’t hit pan yet so I feel like its affordable when you break down the cost per wear.
✨ Step 5: Blush ✨
I like to put my blush on after my highlighter so it doesn’t get hidden after applying my highlighter. Lawless Blush [Shades: Angel Suede + Sakura] is what I’ve been using lately. I mix both shades to get a pretty peachy pink color. Depending on my mood, if I’d go more heavy on either the Angel Suede if I want a more peachy color or Sakura if I want a more pink color. They are super pigmented which I love, as well as it being a clean + safe product. We all know I’m all about that ha!
After I apply my blush I go in on the apples of my cheeks and add Certified Organic Highlighter [My shade is sold out [Cheek Crush]. When I took the pictures it was still in stock I’m sorry! I linked the shade available. This is a beautiful peachy pink color that adds a bit of sparkle and shine [see what I did there ha!] I have used this by itself as well.
Once my face is done I then move on to my eyes and I’m going to do a whole separate post on that next week so stay tuned for that! What are some of your favorite beauty products for your face?
