✨Current Make-Up Face Faves ✨

Hello Hello! Wow, is been quit the minute since I lasted posted on here. A lot has happened in the world as everyone knows about but a lot has also happened in my personal life. I’m not quit ready to discuss what happened in my life and with so many outlets to get news, I wanted to bring something light and fun to my little corner on the internet. At some point I will disclose what has been going on in my personal life and maybe my thoughts on the state of the world but until then I want to keep things light and that bring positivity. With that being said, the fact that I’m not posting about current events,  that doesn’t mean I’m immune to what is happening or that I’m ignoring it.

So now onto the post! Beauty and skin care products are one of my favorite things to buy, play with and talk about. So my apologies for the short novel this will be ha!

#1. Lawless Set the Stage Hydrating Primer Serum This product is fairly new to me but so far I really like it.  I use it as my moisturizer as well because it is a multiple purpose product. It has a lot of clean and good ingredients and it cuts out a couple of products in my skin care routine.

#2. Tula Face Filter Blurring & Moisturizing Primer  I have been using this product for a while and absolutely love it. It has a bit of a tint to it and even and blurs your skin so you have an even canvas to either apply the next product in your routine [mine would be foundation] or you can add mascara and lip gloss for a “no make up make up day”. A little goes a long way too, you really don’t need a lot which I like as well for a couple of reasons. One because I don’t need a lot so it last longer. Two because I do use a lot of products so I don’t feel like I have a bunch of layers on my face. I always make sure I have back up in my drawer so I never run out.

#3. Lawless Set the Stage Foundation  [Shade: Sonoran] I have been using this foundation ever since it came out and LOVE it. It is clean, full coverage, and has a dewy finish. For me personally, I don’t need a lot but it is buildable so you can use as much or as little as you want. You can also mix it in with your moisturizer, sun screen etc. I usually get it at Sephora but my shade is out of stock there so I linked it to Lawless.com. I also really like that there is a wide arrange of shades to choose from for the difference seasons when you’re tanner or lighter.

#4. SuperGroop! Invincible Setting Powder SPF 45 [Shade: Medium] This is another product I’ve been using for a long time and love it! I like that it another clean product and an SPF in powder form so touch ups are easy and don’t mess up my make up when I’m out and about. I went to St.Thomas and St. John in the Caribbean and used this product [with some other products] while snorkeling and exploring the islands and didn’t get sunburn on my face and it set my foundation really well. I dump it out into another container and use my Chanel Petite Kabuki Brush and it works great.

#5. Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector  [Shade: Light to Medium] This is another tried and true product I’ve been using for years. I put it on after my foundation because I have ridiculously dark circles and this product evens and brightens them out for a fresh canvas for my concealer.

#6. Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer  [Shade: Creme- fair, pink undertones] I have been on the hunt for a full coverage, hydrating, won’t cake concealer and finally have found it. A little goes a long way, the applicator is really good, and I blend it in with a beauty sponge I got on amazon. This concealer blends out really well but stays fill coverage at the same time.  Another thing I love about this concealer is there is a wide arrange of colors to choose from.

#7. Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder  [Shade: Natural Finish] + Lawless Seal the Deal Setting Powder  [Shade: Brightening] I mix both of these together because I like both of these and together it just works. The Hourglass setting powder is great and super smooth and blends out awesome. The Lawless setting powder is smooth and blends out nicely as well, but it does add some brightness under the eyes and who doesn’t want that?

#8. Lawless Summer Skin Velvet Matte Bronzer [Shade: Golden Hour] Finally! A bronzer that isn’t too orange, brown, muddy, dark, or simply just wrong for me. I feel like Goldie Locks of Bronzers ha! I contour with it first and then I use it as a bronzer to warm up my face. It goes on really well and looks very natural. I like that it is matte because I use a lot of other products that have shimmer or sparkle.

#9. Lawless Lucid Skin Highlighter  + Chanel Highlighting Powder Compact  [Shade: 10 Ivory Gold] I use both of these highlighters for a glow from within look. The Lawless one is really pretty and what I like about it the best is that it doesn’t show off texture. The Chanel one is brighter than the Lawless and goes on smooth. Depending on my mood or if I’m tan or not I’ll either use one or the other or mix them and use both. I also use them as eyeshadow and in the inner corner of my eyes to make them pop.

#10. Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush  [Shade: 55 in Love. Mine is sold out] This is the closest color I could find to mine but the blush is beautiful and pigmented. It has a lot of color payoff plus a little shimmer to give a little sun kissed glow. There are some colors that don’t have the shimmer but I personally like it.  I have my eye on a couple more colors.

These are all the products I use on a full face of make up.  I’m going to do a post on the products I use on a “no make up make up” day ” and when I’m going to the beach or if I’m going to be out in the sun all day so stay tuned for them!

Otay that’s it for today. Thank you so much for being here! If you use any of these products or have your own favorites leave them in the comments below! Also follow along on Instagram @Sparkleandshinebrightllc and on Pinterest @jennifer_lynn11

Always Sparkle and Shine Bright…
